Ingredients
Scale
For the Watermelon Fries:
- ½ medium seedless watermelon
- Optional: fresh mint, lime zest, or Tajín for garnish
For the Strawberry Yogurt Dip:
- 5 fresh strawberries, hulled
- ½ cup vanilla yogurt (Greek or plant-based)
- 1–2 tablespoons honey, agave, or maple syrup (to taste)
Instructions
- Cut the watermelon in half, then into ½-inch thick round slices.
- Use a crinkle cutter (or sharp knife) to slice rounds into fry-shaped sticks. Optional: remove the rind.
- In a blender, combine strawberries and yogurt. Blend until smooth.
- Taste the dip and sweeten with honey or syrup if needed. Blend again briefly.
- Serve the watermelon fries chilled, with dip on the side. Garnish as desired.
Notes
- To make it vegan, use plant-based yogurt and agave or maple syrup.
- Add lime zest or chopped mint to the dip for a flavor boost.
- For savory fans, sprinkle Tajín or chili powder on the watermelon sticks.
- Store dip in fridge up to 2 days. Watermelon is best cut fresh or within 24 hours.
