Description

These refreshing watermelon fries with coconut lime dip are the ultimate summer snack juicy, fun to eat, and paired with a creamy, dairy-free dip that’s bursting with tropical flavor. Perfect for kids, parties, or a healthy midday treat.

Ingredients

Scale

For the Watermelon Fries:

  • 1 medium seedless watermelon, chilled

For the Coconut Lime Dip:

  • 1/2 cup full-fat coconut cream (chilled)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
  • 12 teaspoons maple syrup (to taste)
  • Pinch of sea salt
  • Optional: lime zest for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cut off both ends of the watermelon and remove the rind.
  2. Slice the watermelon into 1-inch thick rounds, then cut into fry-shaped sticks.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together coconut cream, lime juice, maple syrup, and salt until smooth.
  4. Taste and adjust the sweetness or lime to your preference.
  5. Serve watermelon fries chilled with the coconut lime dip on the side. Garnish with lime zest if desired.

Notes

  • For extra fun, serve watermelon fries on skewers or popsicle sticks.
  • The dip can be made 1–2 days ahead and stored in the fridge.
  • You can substitute lemon for lime or use agave instead of maple syrup.
  • Don’t freeze watermelon—it will turn mushy.
