Description

7 Layer Taco Dip is a cold party appetizer with creamy, savory, and fresh layers in every scoop. Refried beans, guacamole, sour cream, salsa, cheese, tomatoes, and olives make it a crowd favorite.

Ingredients

1 can refried beans

1 cup guacamole

1 cup sour cream

1 cup salsa, drained if needed

1 cup shredded cheddar or Mexican blend cheese

1/2 cup diced tomatoes

1/4 cup sliced black olives

2 tablespoons chopped green onions

1 tablespoon taco seasoning

Instructions

1. Spread the refried beans evenly into the bottom of a shallow serving dish.

2. Stir the taco seasoning into the sour cream until combined.

3. Spread the guacamole evenly over the bean layer.

4. Spread the seasoned sour cream over the guacamole.

5. Spoon the salsa over the sour cream in an even layer.

6. Sprinkle the shredded cheese over the salsa.

7. Top with diced tomatoes, black olives, and green onions.

8. Chill until ready to serve with tortilla chips.

Notes

Drain the salsa if it looks watery so the layers stay neat.

Spread each layer gently so the ingredients do not mix together.

Serve chilled for the best texture.
