2 garlic cloves, minced
1 tablespoon rice vinegar
1 teaspoon sesame oil
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon cornstarch mixed with 1 tablespoon water
12 small skewers
Instructions
1. If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 20 minutes.
2. Whisk the soy sauce, honey, olive oil, garlic, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and black pepper together.
3. Toss the steak cubes in the sauce and let them sit for 10 minutes.
4. Thread the steak pieces onto the skewers.
5. Grill the skewers until the beef reaches your desired doneness.
6. Pour the remaining sauce into a small pan, stir in the cornstarch slurry, and cook until thickened.
7. Brush the glaze over the skewers before serving.
Notes
Choose a tender cut of beef for the best texture.
Do not overcook the steak because it can turn tough quickly.
Serve with sesame seeds or sliced green onions if you want extra garnish.
