Description

Burrata with Balsamic Strawberries & Basil is a fresh appetizer that mixes creamy cheese with sweet tart berries and fragrant basil. It feels light, colorful, and perfect for warm-weather serving.

Ingredients

8 ounces burrata

1 cup strawberries, sliced

1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar

1 tablespoon honey

2 tablespoons basil, sliced

1 teaspoon olive oil

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Toasted bread for serving

Instructions

1. Add the strawberries, balsamic vinegar, and honey to a bowl.

2. Toss well and let the strawberries sit for 10 to 15 minutes.

3. Place the burrata on a serving plate and gently open it.

4. Spoon the strawberries and their juices over the burrata.

5. Top with basil and drizzle with olive oil.

6. Finish with black pepper and serve with toasted bread.

Notes

Use ripe strawberries for the best balance of sweetness and acidity.

A pinch of flaky salt helps the flavors stand out.

Serve soon after assembling so the strawberries stay fresh.
