Ingredients
12 large jalapeño peppers
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 cup panko breadcrumbs
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
2 eggs, beaten
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
Salt, to taste
Black pepper, to taste
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 425°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Cut jalapeños in half lengthwise and remove seeds and membranes.
3. Mix cream cheese, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until smooth.
4. Fill each jalapeño half with cheese mixture.
5. Set up three bowls: flour, beaten eggs, and panko mixed with smoked paprika.
6. Dredge each stuffed jalapeño in flour, dip in egg, then coat with panko.
7. Place on baking sheet and bake for 20 to 25 minutes until golden and crispy.
8. Serve hot with ranch or marinara dipping sauce.
