Description

Grilled Avocado with Lime & Cilantro features ripe avocados grilled until smoky and warm, then finished with fresh lime juice, cilantro, and chili flakes. They offer creamy texture with bright citrus flavor perfect for summer barbecues.

Ingredients

2 ripe avocados, halved and pitted

2 tablespoons olive oil

Juice of 1 lime

2 tablespoons fresh cilantro, chopped

1/4 teaspoon chili flakes or cayenne

Flaky sea salt, to taste

Lime wedges, for serving

Instructions

1. Preheat grill to medium-high heat.

2. Brush the cut sides of the avocado halves with olive oil.

3. Place avocados cut-side down on the grill.

4. Grill for 3 to 4 minutes until grill marks appear and avocados soften slightly.

5. Remove from grill and squeeze fresh lime juice over the warm avocados.

6. Sprinkle with cilantro, chili flakes, and flaky sea salt.

7. Serve immediately with extra lime wedges.

Notes

Choose ripe but firm avocados that hold their shape on the grill.

Brush the grill grates with oil to prevent sticking.

Serve warm for the best flavor and texture contrast.
