Description

Grilled Caprese Skewers with Halloumi are savory, fresh, and full of bright Mediterranean flavor. Halloumi grills to a golden finish while tomatoes and basil keep the skewers light and colorful.


Ingredients

8 ounces halloumi cheese, cut into cubes

24 cherry tomatoes

24 fresh basil leaves

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 tablespoon balsamic glaze

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

12 small skewers or toothpicks


Instructions

1. Thread the cherry tomatoes, basil leaves, and halloumi cubes onto each skewer.

2. Brush the halloumi lightly with olive oil.

3. Grill the skewers for 1 to 2 minutes per side until the halloumi turns golden.

4. Arrange the skewers on a serving platter.

5. Drizzle with balsamic glaze and sprinkle with black pepper.

Notes
