Description

Grilled Jalapeño Poppers with Cream Cheese feature spicy jalapeños stuffed with creamy cheese filling, wrapped in bacon, and grilled until crispy. They deliver heat, creaminess, and smoky bacon flavor perfect for game day or barbecues.

Ingredients

12 large jalapeño peppers

8 ounces cream cheese, softened

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

12 slices bacon, cut in half

2 tablespoons barbecue sauce (optional)

Instructions

1. Preheat grill to medium heat.

2. Cut each jalapeño in half lengthwise and remove seeds and membranes.

3. Mix cream cheese, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, and onion powder until smooth.

4. Fill each jalapeño half with the cheese mixture.

5. Wrap each filled jalapeño with half a slice of bacon and secure with toothpick.

6. Grill for 15 to 20 minutes, turning occasionally, until bacon crisps.

7. Brush with barbecue sauce during last 2 minutes if desired.

Notes

Wear gloves when handling jalapeños to avoid skin burn.

Use thin bacon slices so they cook through completely.

Remove toothpicks before serving to guests.
