Description

Honey Garlic Chicken Skewers are sticky, savory, and lightly sweet with a bold garlic flavor. Tender chicken pieces grill or bake beautifully and make an easy crowd-pleasing appetizer.

Ingredients

1 1/2 pounds chicken breast, cut into cubes

1/4 cup honey

3 tablespoons soy sauce

3 tablespoons olive oil

4 garlic cloves, minced

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1/2 teaspoon paprika

12 small skewers

Instructions

1. If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 20 minutes.

2. Whisk the honey, soy sauce, olive oil, garlic, lemon juice, salt, black pepper, and paprika together.

3. Add the chicken pieces and toss to coat.

4. Thread the chicken onto the skewers.

5. Grill or bake until the chicken cooks through and turns golden.

6. Brush with extra sauce before serving.

Notes

You can marinate the chicken for 30 minutes if you want a deeper flavor.

Baste the skewers near the end so the honey does not burn.

Serve with rice, salad, or as a party appetizer.
