Description

Loaded Nachos with Pico de Gallo bring together crisp tortilla chips, melty cheese, and bold toppings in one crowd-pleasing appetizer. Fresh pico de gallo adds a bright finish that balances the rich, savory layers.

Ingredients

1 bag tortilla chips

1/2 pound ground beef

1 tablespoon taco seasoning

1/4 cup water

1 1/2 cups shredded Mexican blend cheese

1/2 cup black beans, drained and rinsed

1/4 cup sliced jalapeños

1/2 cup pico de gallo

1/4 cup sour cream

2 tablespoons chopped cilantro

1/2 avocado, diced, optional

Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 375°F.

2. Cook the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until browned.

3. Drain any excess grease.

4. Add the taco seasoning and water, then stir until the beef is evenly coated.

5. Spread the tortilla chips on a baking sheet or oven-safe platter.

6. Top the chips with the seasoned beef, shredded cheese, black beans, and jalapeños.

7. Bake the nachos for 8 to 10 minutes until the cheese melts.

8. Remove the nachos from the oven.

9. Top them with pico de gallo, sour cream, cilantro, and avocado if desired.

10. Serve the nachos right away.

Notes

Layer the toppings evenly so every chip gets flavor.

Add cold toppings after baking to keep them fresh.

Serve immediately so the chips stay crisp.
