Description

Pimento Cheese Dip is rich, creamy, and full of sharp cheddar flavor with a classic Southern feel. Pimentos, cream cheese, and mayo make it smooth enough for dipping and bold enough for spreading.

Ingredients

2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese

4 ounces cream cheese, softened

1/3 cup mayonnaise

1 jar diced pimentos, drained

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/4 teaspoon onion powder

1/4 teaspoon paprika

1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

1. Add the cream cheese, mayonnaise, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper to a mixing bowl.

2. Stir until the mixture looks smooth.

3. Fold in the shredded cheddar cheese and drained pimentos.

4. Mix until everything looks evenly combined.

5. Chill the dip for at least 30 minutes before serving.

6. Serve with crackers, celery, or sliced bread.

Notes

Use freshly shredded cheddar for the best texture.

You can blend part of the mixture if you want a smoother dip.

Chilling the dip helps the flavor develop.
